This project was my graduation project on bachelor level at HDK. The project was about creating a place to sit, which gives the user a positive experience. By giving the place a hovering and floating feeling I wanted to create a interesting experience. A wave-like shape cut out from nature, taken from its original place and placed somewhere else. The surface offers various kinds of seating which creates opportunity for contact with other people. This seating is created for Slottskogen, which is a park in Gothenburg. It is of course suitable for other places as well, such as parks and squares.
